Among numerous candidates to the YESS Award 2020, Simon Fleischmann, former post-doctorate in the team of Prof. Veronica Augustyn at North Carolina State University, was selected as laureate for proposing the most personal and innovative project. It was about the understanding of the transition between Faradaic and electric double layer charge storage phenomena. The jury also highlighted the remarkable professional career of Mr. Fleischmann. He is now leading his own research project in Toulouse in Prof. Patrice Simon's team.
