The YESS award is a contest for young scientists. The best projects (from materials to systems) are awarded €10.000 and €2.500 in prize money respectively. To participate, young scientists have to submit an innovative project of a few pages before July 24th.
Following the deliberation of the jury Dr. Claire Villevieille (Battery group leader, PSI) was honoured by the first prize of the YESS Award at Batteries 2016 in Nice. The jury was unanimous about the innovative quality of her project using improved neutron diffraction as a way to study batteries.
