13th biannual meeting of RS2E at Solvay
On March, 20th and 21st, RS2E’s researchers gathered for their 13th biannual meeting. More than 100 members of the network were invited near Paris at Solvay, an industrial partner, to share and discuss the latest scientific achievements and results of the different thematic: latest activities of our prototyping platform, investigation of the anionic redox mechanism, the new calculation platform Quantum Cats, ….
This year, two international guests were invited to give a lecture to our members. Pr. Fikile Brushett, form the MIT in Boston, presented the different challenges raised by redox flow batteries. Then Dr Tazdin Amietszajew, first-prize winner of the 2017 YESS Award, which reward an innovative project in the field of electrochemical energy storage, was invited to present his project “Investigating limits of Li-ion cells using smart instrumentation”.
The ICG of Montpellier will host the next RS2E meeting in October 2018.
